MaxGuide is my way of traveling.
When I was a kid, I would pretend I was a travel agent. Just a small table, a disconnected phone, Costa Cruise Lines and Euro Disney catalogues next to me.
Ciao, how can I help you?
My passion for travel was born there. I wandered with my fantasy, more than with my legs – with the exception of my beloved Lake Maggiore, where my grandmothers were born. Then Gardaland came and I fell in love. I went there with my uncles, with my friends, with whoever would join me. And I organized everything: the order of the attractions we would ride, what we would order at the restaurant. Control freak anyone?
As a grown-up, my passions grew as well. Tourism became my profession: I’ve worked for Disneyland Paris and then for Leolandia. Traveling like there was no tomorrow, from California, where I studied film production, to Mainz, where I practiced German. And then trade shows from Orlando to Shanghai. Finding new ideas, embracing curiosity, discovering places, faces and smiles.
For travelers that don’t want to be treated as tourists. For residents who want to talk about their cities. For the ones who chose small, indie accomodations instead of big chain hotels.
For the ones who believe in “People Over Profit”.
